Lost Property is now being managed by the school. Please contact reception if you have any questions.
Label your stuff!
If you label your property then there is a chance you may get it back.
If you buy your labels from Stikins (school code 35674) the PTA receives a donation.
Lost property information
Named items
Staff do their best to re-unite some named items to Primary children but this is not always possible. Named items will be retained in Lost Property for a few months.
Unnamed items - if you can collect them that's great. If not, after a month - they may be re-sold or go to charity.
Location
For children using the biggest playground (P1) lost items are often to be found in the large plastic chest near the entrance to After School Club (Main Club). It is simplest to get them to check this first or for parents to at pick-up.
Lost property room is located behind the After School Club (see the school map) - follow the yellow line from the parents' entrance. Just after you have passed the After School Club, a little court yard opens to your left. Facing the court yard, the door in the left-hand back corner leads to Lost Property (we used to have a sign but it was stolen).
When you enter Lost Property, the first room is now used for the 6EE cloakroom.
The second room to the left may have lost items you can search through. Please take care not to trip over the leads as you enter. The light switch does not work.
Parent access
Parents can check the lost property room and no longer need a key. Unaccompanied children are not allowed to access the room.
What happens to unclaimed items
Unclaimed items will be kept for a couple of months, after that they will be washed and sold at the school fetes. Anything that doesn't sell goes to charity.
