Let's make money

As well as events, the PTA also runs a number of other fundraising initiatives. With many of these you can make money for the school by simply buying things that you would have bought any way.

If you ever shop at Amazon, sign up to Amazon Smile to easily support the PTA.

Once you register, as long as you shop from the Smile site (which is identical to normal Amazon, just with a different URL) Amazon will give us 0.5% of the amount you spend.

PTA PayPal Giving Fund  is a great way of raising funds for the school and allows us to claim back gift aid. This means that for every £10 you give, the school will received £12.15.

easyfundrsiaing works with over 2000 retailers who have all agreed to pass a donation (usually a set percentage) to us when you shop with them. Retailers include Amazon, M&S, Boden, John Lewis, Argos and other well known names.

Simply register with easyfundraising and tell them that you want to support Europa PTA. Then, instead of going directly to the retailer website, log into easyfundraising first and click on the retailer you want to shop with. You’ll then be taken to the retailer’s website where you shop as you would normally. But because you visited easyfundraising first, we get your donation. Whatever you buy costs exactly the same as it would if you visited the retailer site directly.

You can also add the donation reminder toolbar to ensure the you never miss an opportunity to raise funds.

Labelling clothes is made easy with Stikins - and every time you place an order with Label Planet, quoting our school fundraising number 35674, we receive a donation.

These multipurpose stick on name labels can be stuck onto the wash-care label of clothing and fabric items or directly onto bags, shoes, lunch boxes, water bottles, books, stationery kits, P.E. kits, and much, much more. The name tags are white in colour and printed with a bold black font to make sure they are really easy to read.

Boilerjuice is the UK's leading heating oil provider - and now you can raise money for the school every time you place an order with them. BoilerJuice will donate 25p for every 100 litres of heating oil ordered so for a typical order of 1000 litres that's £2.50.

Register with them here and then login, click on "Rewards" and search for the school (it may just appear on your list based on postcode) - then click "Support Group" and a donation will be made for all your future purchases.

Did you know that you can help us raise funds simply by recycling your ink cartridges via our Recycle4Charity programme? For each inkjet cartridge recycled via the programme we will receive a £1 donation, meaning you can help the environment whilst raising money for the school!

To start, all you need to do is go to the address shown below and sign up for your free account: Register now at – http://www.recycle4charity.co.uk/Register/C92500

Please make sure you are sending in only usable original inkjet cartridges as listed on recycle4charity.co.uk/inkjetcartridges. They may return any items other than acceptable printer consumables and charge you the transport cost.

Lets make some money for the PTA by working with Recycling for Good Causes

Please start collecting:
  1. Used stamps from your Christmas card envelopes. All kinds of stamps are welcome, on or off the paper. Simply cut or carefully rip off the postage stamp from the used envelope, being careful that you don’t damage the stamp, then keep in a safe place until the New Year! Recycling for Good Causes will arrange collections for larger quantities of stamps over 10 kilos. That’s about two buckets full of stamps. So remember to keep all the stamps you receive!
  2. ANY currency – coins or banknotes, including out of circulation currency.

Why not ask your neighbours, colleagues and family to collect for the PTA too! Both the stamps and currency will be collected in the New Year, details to follow.
