On Friday 10th May the primary children came together for a fantastic international day, celebrating some of the different countries and cultures represented by children and parents at the school.
Children were able to come to school wearing a costume which represented a country of their choice - there were some amazing clothes on display. The Schuman Hall was filled with flags, music, food and dancing, with nine stalls representing the following countries:
KS1 children each visited three countries and received flag stickers in their passports for each of these. KS2 were allowed to visit as many countries as they wanted. Thank you to Aiga for organising the day and to all of the parents who ran the fantastic stalls. |
