Our first ever Gala Ball and Charity Auction took place on the evening of Saturday 9th November, in the wonderful surroundings of the Crazy Bear in Stadhampton. The event was a huge success, raising almost £9,000 for the school.
Huge congratulations and thanks to Sarah Clarke who made this event possible and worked tirelessly to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the night. The evening opened with a drinks reception, followed by a delicious three course meal. There was magical entertainment, wonderful music and a fabulously fun charity auction. Thank you to our wonderful Auctioneer, James Breese who really got the crowd going and obtained the bids that our auction lots deserved; to Matthew Garrett the magical magician who blew us all away; and to our fabulous Jazz band: the students from Europa School were incredibly professional and talented players, who kept us entertained. A big thank you to the Crazy Bear Hotel Staff; service was excellent and we we were well looked after. And thank you to Anna McKay, the photographer, for your donated time and wonderful pictures. Thank you also to everyone that came on the night and supported the school with your ticket purchases and auction bids. We are already looking forward to next year! |
