Call for contributions to a Europa lockdown memory book!
We are currently living through one of the most extraordinary periods in recent memory.
The PTA would like to record Europa School community’s collective experience of this extraordinary time, creating a book made up of contributions from our amazing students and staff.
How do I contribute?
Between now and the end of the school year (Friday 3rd July) we would love it if you could submit a contribution which we can include in the book: whether it’s PE with Joe, baking bread, rainbows in windows, sewing your own masks or Zooming with your classmates, we want to see and hear what lockdown means to you. Send drawings, photos, poems, stories, recipes, daily schedules … anything that we can put into print!
Where should I send it?
Contributions can be sent electronically or by post. Please make sure that you include your full name and (for children) class with the submission.
By email to Becca Thomas: firstname.lastname@example.org
By post to: Annie Fabulet, Lockdown Book (PTA), Europa School, Culham, Abingdon OX14 3DZ
Please note: text will all be typed up, so just needs to be a high enough resolution image that we can read it (or even better, pre-typed and sent in a Word document). If you are sending a drawing as part of the submission, please ensure that the image is as hi-res as possible: if in doubt, just post it and we can scan it in.
What happens next?
We will assemble the contributions into a book, which we hope to make available in the Autumn term.
The more contributions, the better our book will be – please do join in with this fantastic project to create a lasting memory for the whole school community.
