You don’t have to be on the committee to make a difference! We appreciate that not everyone can make this kind of commitment. We know life is busy. Most of our community members prefer to help in small, "bite-sized" ways that fit around work and home life.
For all projects - like the bake sales or the fetes - we form smaller working groups. These are made up of committee members providing oversight to "casual" volunteers, often refered to as "Friends of the PTA".
We are currently looking for help with the projects below. If you can help with any of these (or something else?), please let us know!
No! Most of our supporters are not on the committee. You can volunteer for a single event, a single task, or even just provide a one-off donation of goods.
If you can pour a cup of tea, sort a box of clothes, or help supervise a stall for an hour, you have exactly what we need. Our community thrives on simple, collective effort!
Absolutely. Many of our most vital roles - like graphic design, grant research, or baking - can be done in the evenings or at weekends.
Not at all. We welcome grandparents, foster carers, older siblings, and any legal guardians or community members who want to support the school.
