The PTA Committee has a responsibility to ensure that funds are spent in an effective way that will benefit and support the children as well as staff in their role of developing and educating the children, in accordance with our charitable objectives. All the money that the PTA raises all goes towards enhancing the personal, social and academic development of the children at the school.
The PTA committee works closely with the staff and governors to decide how funds should be allocated: examples include contributions towards new equipment (sound system, playground, summerhouse, science labs), workshops for pupils and parents (internet safety, Shakespeare), drama productions and sporting events.
