The money that the PTA raises all goes towards supporting the children at the school. Any member of staff or parent who needs money for an initiative that benefits pupils at Europa School can apply to the PTA for a grant.
Grant applications
All grant applications must be completed on our standard form. Please ensure that you complete all fields and provide as much information as possible: the application will be considered based on what you tell us and we won't always have time to ask for more information before deciding how money should be allocated. For some applications - particularly those for large sums - we will invite the applicant along to the PTA meeting to explain their proposal and answer any questions that the committee may have.
When considering grant applications the PTA will take into account the number of children in the benefiting groups relative to the amount of money requested: whilst this will not be the only consideration, a request for £1,000 which benefits the whole of the Primary school is more likely to be successful that a request for the £500 which benefits just 20 children.
Timetable
We consider grant applications once each term, with payments made at or before the start of the following term. All applications must be received by the specified deadline if they are to be considered that term: save in exceptional circumstances, late applications will be considered at the following term's grant meeting.
