- Un-named lost property is in a cardboard box by the entrance to the classes for a little while. After that, it goes to the Office/Reception for 2 weeks before being stored in the Lost Property room.
- The room is located in the basement behind the Culham European School Reception. The opening hours are: Wednesday from 08.00 to 08.20 am and Friday from 12.00 - 13.00 pm.
- For the europa school, a rota has been organized, made out of volunteers, to open the lost property room every Tuesday from 15.30 to 16.00 pm. This holds except for the last week before a holiday where wewill open on Friday so people can retrieve stuff before the holidays (except Christmas).
- Each class takes a turn and needs to find one volunteer for their day who will open lost property from 3.30 till 4. As this obviously clashes with picking up your own child, it might be an idea to get a friend to collect your child and bring it to lost property.
What do I have to do if I am volunteer?
The volunteer collects the key from Susi at the European School reception and opens up. If people collect clothes from the named list, it would be good if you could cross them off said list. It would also be nice, if you could hang up any new lost property and if it is named, add it to the list. At 4, you lock up and return the key to Susi (or whoever else is there) and go home in the safe knowledge of having done a good deed.
